Welcome to Galaxy Solutions! What you see here is the result of months of planning, and significant investment. But that was only a start, we had to negotiate with vendors to be able to give you the lowest possible price on your server. Then there was all the work of actually setting up the company. You know paperwork to set up a corporation, building a website, setting up servers in a new data center, all that kind of stuff. Even though we have officially launched the company, we are not finished. We will continue working hard to get our clients even lower prices and more options. We will be constantly scrutinizing our services and support, looking for ways to improve. Our goal is to provide the highest quality service at the lowest price possible. In fact we are sure that you will not find a better service at a lower price!
Let us back up a little bit and I will tell you a little about myself. I have been involved in all aspects of hosting for many years. Several years ago, I can not remember exactly when, I purchased my first shared hosting account. Back then I thought I got a great deal when I got 1 GB of disk space and 10 GB data transfer for $13 per month. Boy how things have changed since then, web hosts are now offering a lot more space for a lot less money. But most of them have also cut way back on customer service, and some also are basically scams. When I say scams, I am referring to hosts who offer packages so large that you could not possibly use all the space before they terminated the service and told you your account used too many resources and was not fit for a shared hosting server. Also many hosts have taken overselling to an unreasonable extreme. If half of their clients used all the disk space and bandwidth they were promised the company would go out of business.
About 3 years ago I started my own hosting company, and it has done very well for me. We changed our name once, but the company has never gone out of business. Galaxy-Hosts.com is still operating to this day. We have not taken the road to fast growth with unreasonable promises and poor support, but instead have focused on providing quality service and great support. The packages cost a little more but we have been able to build the company one satisfied client at a time. We plan on providing the same level of service and support here at Galaxy-Solutions. We are not trying to be the biggest, we want to be the best.
I not only operate Galaxy-Host, but around 6 months ago I decided to start a free hosting service, Liberty-Host.com . I then teamed up with Richard to help me implement this. I am in the US and Richard is in the UK, so the partnership allowed us a lot of flexibility. providing around the clock support was much simpler and Richard's extensive knowledge of all aspects of the hosting industry complemented my own very nicely.
The partnership worked so well that we decided to team up again to bring you Galaxy Solutions. Both Richard and I are committed to ensuring our clients get the best service and quality support. We feel that reliable service and quality support are the most important factors in this industry, and we will never overlook these to cut costs. We are committed to providing the best ant the lowest cost possible. We cut back on quality to cut prices a few pennies and grow rapidly. But we are not about taking the easy road, we would rather build the company with satisfied customers. When we get a client, we want to keep them as a client for life.
